We are excited to announce that the FSRC Memorial Scholarship application process is now open to all Frederick County high school seniors!

Thanks to our Rick’s Run participants and the generosity of our donors and sponsors, we are in good shape to support eligible Frederick County high school seniors in their future endeavors.

The Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club Memorial Scholarship is open to Frederick County, Maryland high school seniors who will be attending college, trade school, or enlisting in the US military.

An applicant will have participated as a runner in cross country or track, or will have demonstrated support for running as a team trainer or as an assistant to the coaching staff. In addition to participation in/around the sport of running, the applicant will have a demonstrated history of volunteerism within their school, church, or community.

Rick and Larry were dedicated runners who were all about giving back to the community. If you know anyone who fits this profile, please encourage him/her to apply. We love learning about our seniors and look forward to helping them make an impact on our world.

The scholarship application and instructions are located here. Two $2500 scholarships will be awarded to one male and one female. The deadline to apply is Wednesday, April 15.
