Ever wondered what the other side of the course looks like during dressage or horse trials? The LOCH MOY FARM is sponsoring a 5k (3.1 mile) event for bipeds over the same course the horses run – with similar but people-modified obstacles.

JOIN US for the 1st of three race series. Dates for Races #2 (June) and #3 (Sept) TBD but summer and fall timeframes.

DO ALL THREE and WIN a special prize!!

The event will benefit the YELLOW RIBBON FUND to support injured service members and their families.Established in 2005, this organization provides practical assistance to those who has served and their families. The YRF gives support to these veterans by providing accommodations, mentoring, career development, family events, and much more. Loch Moy Farm’s owner Carolyn Mackintosh’s dear friends lost their eldest son, Scott Kirkpatrick, in Afganistan and YRF was there for them, so they are always looking for ways to support YRF.

There will also be a 1 Mile-ish Fun Run for the youngsters.

Discounts for VETERANS, and FIRST RESPONDERS. Individuals that have participated in previous Loch Moy Farms horse events and Seniors (50 and over) will also get a discount on the entry fee.

The race will be electronically chip timed with awards in various age groups.
