The Up & Out Foundation, a non-profit 501 (c) (3) with the mission of educating the public about the disease of addiction, as well as assisting addicts in their recovery is hosting the 5th Annual Run for Recovery. Not only does the Run for Recovery raise awareness about alcoholism and drug addiction, it also promotes health and wellness. With the funds we raise we will be able to contribute towards the Drug Court program in Frederick County, provide “Blessing Bags” to the homeless, and help those financially that are struggling with addiction get treatment and into sober living environments.
