The Ambassador’s 5K Challenge will take place in Mount Airy on July 30th to celebrate the Honorable Raul H. Yzaguirre, Sr., former U.S. Ambassador and 40-year resident of Mt. Airy, MD in his battle against Parkinson’s.

The event is to benefit Parkinson’s Research, and the proceeds go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF) accelerates high-impact science through smart risk taking and problem solving with a commitment to urgency and efficiency to help speed a cure for Parkinson’s.
