The Candy Cane Dash 5K/1K is fast becoming a way for families to celebrate the start of the Holiday Season in downtown Frederick! Participants will be running with 250+ 3rd – 8th-grade Girls on the Run Fall Program participants, whose energy and enthusiasm is contagious. Runners, skippers, and walkers of all shapes, sizes, and speeds, many of which will be in costume, will be treated to a wonderful morning of holiday cheer.

In addition to 5K finisher’s medals, we will be giving costume awards as well as overall and age-group awards.

Registration will open on or about June 1, 2018.

1K participants will also be getting some special bling at the finish line!

The Candy Cane Dash benefits Girls on the Run of Mid & Western Maryland.
