Girls on the Run of Mid & Western Maryland celebrates the end of our spring season with our celebratory 5K event – this year, hosted at Hood College. This closing event gives program participants (girls grades 3rd-8th) of all abilities a tangible sense of accomplishment. Crossing the finish line instills confidence through completion and is a joyful moment!  Our spring 5K is not timed, non-competitive, and family friendly – we encourage all runners, aspiring runners, and walkers to celebrate and support our girls through this inspiring 5K.
