THE ON-SITE 2020 MAKIN’ HAY 10K HAS BEEN CANCELLED AND THE EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO A VIRTUAL EVENT. THOSE PREVIOUSLY REGISTERED FOR THE RUN ARE GETTING AN EMAIL WITH INSTRUCTIONS.
IF YOU WERE ON THE FENCE BUT STILL WANT TO GET YOUR HANDS ON ONE OF OUR AWESOME RACE MEDALS, YOU’RE IN LUCK! THOSE RUNNING IN THE VIRTUAL EVENT WILL BE ABLE TO RUN WHEREVER THEY WANT, TREADMILL OR MOUNTAINS, APRIL 18TH OR 19TH AND UPLOAD THEIR RESULTS TO KEEP THOSE PARTICIPATION STREAKS ALIVE. FOLLOW THE LINK BELOW BEGINNING ON 3/18/2020 TO REGISTER FOR THE VIRTUAL EVENT YOURSELF!
SADLY, THERE WILL BE NO CAMERADIERIE OR AWARDS THIS YEAR, BUT WE HOPE THAT YOU’LL STILL PATRONIZE OUR SPONSORS AND LET’S HOPE THE SPOOK HILL CIDER & WINE 4-MILE RUN (SEE THE SPOOK HILL WEBSITE FOR COVOD-19 RELATED INFORMATION) COMES OFF WITHOUT A HITCH!

This scenic and rolling 10K course will take you on a journey through the heart of Frederick County’s dairy production region. The course celebrates spring’s awakening, taking participants past numerous farms, along Catoctin Creek on a dirt road, and across two, one-lane, wooden deck bridges. Custom bibs, finisher’s medals, 5-year age group awards, and tech shirts await those that run this beautiful but challenging 10K!

If you’ve got the will, we’ve got the hills!
