*Grand Prix Event*

*Equalizer Event*

Run the in-person Spook Hill Cider & Wine 4-Mile Run* or the virtual version, whichever you’re comfortable with! *Depending on coronavirus mitigation procedures expected to be in effect in October, Spook Hill’s traditional 4-mile distance may be reduced to a 5K with the orchard loop being dropped for this year.

We will strive to make the in-person experience as safe as possible for participants and volunteers alike. That being said, on-site participants will be expected to follow any and all coronavirus mitigation measures that the event Covid safety plan calls for. This safety plan will be published on the website closer to race day and will be emailed to all participants prior to the event. At a minimum, expect staggered starts and mask mandates while not actually on the course.

Registration is being capped at 220 for the in-person event at this time. Persons expressing interest in registering after the cap has been reached will have the opportunity to join the wait list. If coronavirus-based gathering restrictions are eased and we can safely accommodate more participants in Burkittsville on race day, we will raise the cap and invite those on the wait list to join us on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our traditional wine-glasses will be back for in-person Spook Hill participants. We are also working with the wineries on the Spook Hill Tasting Trail (and hope to have an additional, nearby tasting opportunity added to the list this year!) to ensure their participation again this year.

Spook Hill’s sister event, the Makin’ Hay 10K is planned for Sunday, October 17th, so why not make a weekend of it?
