WHES Hero Fun Run and 5K

The first WHES Hero Fun Run and 5k will help raise funds to support Whittier Elementary School.  Your participation/donations will directly impact the students at Whittier!  The race will take place around the scenic Whittier Elementary in Frederick, MD.

  • 8:30 AM – 1k fun run
  • 9:000 AM – 5k run/walk
  • There is a Virtual 5k option for those that can’t participate in person!

Registration

  • 1k Fun Run – $10 (includes Dog Tag)
  • 5k run/walk – $30 online pre-registration (T-shirt is guaranteed when registered by September 30th)
  • 5k run/walk day of the race registration – $40 (registration begins at 7:30 AM)
  • Virtual 5k race – $25 (name on “Virtual Runners’” sign that will be visible on race day)

  • Face Painting
  • Raffle Baskets
  • Prizes awarded for top male/female in each age category
