The Whistle 5K is the kick-off to the Blue Ridge Summit Free Library annual Ice Cream Social and Book Sale which starts at 9:00 a.m.
The Whistle 5K starts at the library and takes a route through the shady streets of Blue Ridge Summit PA before finishing back near the library. The route takes a gradual climb around the former Lodge property (now the Christ Apostolic Church of North America) before winding its way back to the beginning. All participants receive a “goody bag” (which includes a coupon for a free ice cream cone at the social plus other neat items) and Whistle 5K tee shirts are available for purchase.
All proceeds benefit the library and its programs.
